ms Amsterdam

ms Eurodam


Holland America Line will name its new 2,044-passenger Signature-class ship, ms Eurodam.

To be delivered in summer 2008, the new Eurodam marks Holland America Line's next class of vessels and the largest ever constructed for the premium line.

With an estimated all-in cost of $450 million, the new 86,000-ton Panamax Eurodam will be built at Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri's Marghera shipyard.

ms Maasdam


The ms Maasdam is the fifth ship in Holland America Line's more than 130-year history to bear the name.

Featuring an interior motif that pays homage to the historical Dutch East and West India companies of the 17th through 19th centuries, the centerpiece of this elegant ship features Luciano Vistosi's "Totem," a monumental sculpture using nearly 2,000 glimmering pieces of glass, prominently displayed in a soaring three-story atrium. She exudes a warm, elegant feel throughout by combining rich, polished woods and more than $2 million antiques and art collection

The ms Maasdam completed all Signature of Excellence enhancements to her public rooms and staterooms in Spring 2006.

ms Noordam


Holland America Line is proud to announce the launch of the newest member of our world-renowned Vista-class ships - the ms Noordam.

Sailing from the new homeport of New York City, the 1,918-passenger ship will sail a series of 10- and 11-day Caribbean cruises which began with a maiden voyage on February 22.

Summer cruises will operate in Europe and the Mediterranean before the ship returns to New York and the Caribbean in the autumn of 2006.

ms Oosterdam


The ms Oosterdam is a creative blend of charm and modern amenities, affording all guests the comfort and convenience they expect on board a Holland America ship.

Officially christened in 2003 by Her Dutch Royal Highness, Princess Margriet of The Netherlands, the ms Oosterdam is the second in our series of Vista-class ships.

As on all Vista-class ships, Holland America Line embraces the latest industry and environmental technologies such as her use of a full-scale diesel-electric power plant for optimal energy efficiency and an Azipod propulsion system that maximizes maneuverability.

ms Prinsendam


Designed expressly to explore the rare corners of the world, the ms Prinsendam accommodates less than 800 guests, giving our guests the intimate feel of a yacht with the spaciousness of a large cruise ship.

Our "Elegant Explorer" is known for her long range, exotic itineraries - most notably the 100-day-plus Grand World Voyage - and her elegant, sophisticated decor.

The ms Prinsendam completed all Signature of Excellence enhancements to her public rooms and staterooms in Spring 2005.

ms Rotterdam


As the sixth ship to bear the name, the flagship ms Rotterdam is the standard-bearer for our Atlantic fleet of five-star cruise ships.

The first Rotterdam set sail in 1872, beginning a Holland America tradition and reputation that continued through the Rotterdam V, one of the most beloved ships of all time.

In the grand tradition of the Rotterdam ships, fascinating Holland America memorabilia can be found throughout the ship, such as specially commissioned works of art ranging from oil paintings, to sculptures, to textile designs and much more.

ms Ryndam


With a Dutch worldwide exploration theme, the decor of the ms Ryndam features art and artifacts from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.

Guests aboard this spacious ship encounter elegance at every turn - from a string quartet serenade in the splendid Rotterdam Dining Room to the two-deck Vermeer Show Lounge.

At the heart of the ms Ryndam a three-story atrium features a monumental fountain created by sculptor Gilbert Lebigre in Pietrasanta, Italy.

ms Statendam


The ms Statendam is the fifth ship to bear the name in Holland America Line's 133-year history

. With more than $2 million worth of art and artifacts, the ms Statendam features a theme of Dutch life and exploration.

The Van Gogh Theater is a work of art in itself. Themed to Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh's paintings "The Starry Night" and "Irises," the room features computerized fiber optic lighting as well as a state-of-the-art sound system.

ms Veendam

At the heart of the ms Zaandam, in a soaring three-story atrium, guests revel at a Baroque-style Dutch pipe organ, inspired by the traditional barrel organs still found on the streets of The Netherlands.

The ms Zuiderdam began her inaugural season in 2002 as the first ship in our Vista-class series.
